Did you watch the 2010 television movie, The Client List, starred Jennifer Love Hewitt as Samantha Horton? It’s a fictionalized dramatization of a true story of 2004 prostitution scandal in Odessa, Texas. the film follows Sam Horton, a mother of three who turns to prostitution to make ends meet.
The Client List received positive receptions from audiences and critics, with Jennifer Love Hewitt nominated in Golden Globe in “Best Performance By An Actress in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made For Television” category (lost to Claire Danes).
Good news for you, soon we will able to watch the television series version of The Client List. It is set to air on the Lifetime network in March 2012, with initial 10-episodes run. The series won’t have a direct linking to the TV movie’s plot. The character also will be different, even though Jennifer Love Hewitt will still be the main actress, this time plays as Riley Parks.
