Have you familiar with the term web series? Web series is kinda similar to television series, but the episodes are only available on the Internet, and probably for cell phone too. Web series can be related to the actual show that aired on TV, but it also can be a medium for independent producers to create low budget series and distribute their works via Internet.
The reason why I love independent producers from web series is because they often offer new ideas for plot, and with fresh cast of actors too. Take a look at 13 Witches for example. This upcoming show from Sabine Mondestin and My Destiny Production has created a new buzz, with its trailer has got more than 15,000 hits on YouTube only two weeks after launched.
Of course that we can’t judge the quality of the movie yet, because it’s only a trailer and the actual web series is still soon to be released. However, 13 Witches probably attracts more fans because it cleverly uses beautiful and sexy new actresses.
