Love and Career:
Sarah Lancaster interest in acting began when she moved from Kansas to California on her teenage. At that time, she took up film/TV acting classes with R. J. Adams at The Actors Workshop. Her skill impressed a talent agent, who helped the then-eighth grader to secure her first series-regular role on Saved by the Bell: The New Class in 1993.
After graduated, Sarah Lancaster moved to Los Angeles to further her acting career. She later appeared as guest role on Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, Dawson’s Creek, That ’70s Show, Scrubs, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. She also landed as recurring role on Everwood.
From 2004-2006 she starred as the beautiful and ambitious blackjack dealer, Veronica Harold, on CBS’s short-lived one hour drama series, Dr. Vegas.
Sarah Lancaster is currently starring her most prominent role on her career, where she portrays as Ellie Bartowski in NBC’s spy-spoof, Chuck.
Sarah Lancaster is married to attorney Matthew Jacobs. They are expecting their first child in the summer of 2011.
“I know! You know, I’m almost immune to it now, which is kind of shocking because Ryan is really good-looking. Well, you’ve seen the show. But now it’s kind of like, oh yeah, that’s Ryan’s wardrobe. He’s always in shorts or naked or with leaves covering his bits. It’s kind of just another day at the office, you know. He’s a good sport about it, he really is.” – Sarah Lancaster talks about working with Chuck co-star, Ryan McPartlin, with very little clothes on.
