Season Information:

At first, Fox wasn’t really sure about airing Prison Break. They were worried about the long-term prospects of a show that the story is only about breaking out from jail. The first season of the series was only scheduled for 13 episodes. After critically acclaimed and performed well in the ratings, Fox ordered an additional 9 episodes and then expanded Prison Break until it ended in season 4.

Prison Break’s plot is obviously original, as we’ve never seen something like it in other TV shows. For that, this series has received many awards, including 2006 People’s Choice Award and nominated for Golden Globe  in 2005. The series has the total of 81 episodes, including the last 2 episodes which aired as the television movie Prison Break: The Final Break. This finale is one of the most shocking and in touching in the history of television show.
