Love and Career:

Born in England from English father and Asian mother, Zuleikha Robinson spent her childhood traveling in Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore. At 15, she developed a penchant for acting that eventually led her to Los Angeles, where she studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Zuleikha Robinson landed on her first big role when she was appeared as Yves Adele Harlow (an anagram for Lee Harvey Oswald), in Chris Carter’s FOX drama, The Lone Gunmen (2001). It was a spin-off of The X-Files, featuring the trio of computer hacking conspiracy geeks.

She then took a hiatus from TV series and spent the next few years in big screens. Her movie’s works are including The Namesake, Hidalgo, and The Merchant of Venice.

She back to TV show by took part in British-Italian production of historical Rome (2007), played as Gaia. A year later, she was a series’ regular of The New Amsterdam. Unfortunately, the show was canceled by FOX when it was only reached 8 episodes. But apparently, Zuleikha Robinson has quite made an impact on television business. That was proven when the hit series, Lost, signed her for a regular role in the 5th and 6th season. She portrayed Ilana and appeared in 22 episodes of Lost.

I can read hundreds of scripts and nothing comes to me; all of a sudden I read one and I start firing up and I know I have to play the role.
