Born in Canada, Serinda Swan’s career in acting started when she was only three years old and she continued to act until she was seven, enjoying some moderate success. Swan landed her first role when her mother, who was also an actress, was trying out for a part. As her mother tried to land the role, she was crying in the waiting room. Her tears grabbed the attention of director Joel Shumacher, who handpicked her for a role in Cousins with Ted Danson and Isabella Rossellini. Serinda Swan fell the acting bandwagon shortly after and didn’t go back until she was 19, which is when she started to seriously get involved in the industry.
Serinda Swan appeared in Milky Way television commercial in 2006. She then won an online contest for Guess Watches in 2007, beat out 75,000 other contestants. The subsequent international marketing campaign helped her land her deal with Absolute Poker, as a spokeperson and occassional player.
She also appeared as a guest star in television series such as Blood Ties and Supernatural, and movies such as Beyond Loch Ness and Niel and Nikki. Up until this article is written, her most prominent role is when she appeared on the Smallville TV series, episodes Hex and Warrior, as DC Comics superhero and magician Zatanna. Before got this role, Serinda Swan had previously auditioned for Tess Mercer and Maxima on Smallville.
