Similar with many other actresses, Ali Larter started her career as a model, when a talent scout noticed her in the age of 14. She then began her career with modelling all around the world, including in Japan, Australia, and Italy. When a modelling job brought her to LA, she attended acting classes with fellow model, Amy Smart, who later also become famous star.
Ali Larter’s acting career began in 1997 when she starting as a guest stars in some TV series. Ali Larter then made a breakthrough by playing some big screen movies, such as Varsity Blues (1999) and Final Destination (2000). In 2006, Ali Larter was chosen to portrayed the characters of Jessica/Niki Sanders and Tracy Strauss on the NBC Emmy Award-nominated science fiction drama television series Heroes.
Ali Larter is married to Hayes McArthur since 1 August 2009, after met for the first time on the set of National Lampoon’s Homo Erectus (2007). On July 20, 2010, Larter announced that she and MacArthur are expecting their first child.
