In her hometown in Canada, VanderV involved in many sports, including karate where she earned second degree black belt in the age of 16. Now we know where Laura Vandervoort got her perfect-built body. She later appeared in some commercials and guest-starring in one or two episodes of various TV series.
Her breakthrough came in the age of 19, where she got the lead role as Sadie Harrison on the CTV television series Instant Star, which ran for four seasons. After that she had several other TV appearances until she got part as Kara Kent in hit series, Smallville.
Laura Vandervoort recent work was when she portrayed Lisa, an extraterrestrial Visitor, in the ABC remake of the same title science fiction, V.
Since 2005, Laura is dating fellow Canadian actor Corey Sevier, known for Black Sash and North Shore. In 2008, they did an independent film together called The Jazzman.
