Love and Career:
Yunjin Kim spent the first few years of her career in her native country. She has appeared in numerous film and TV projects in South Korea, and won some awards for her parts in Shiri and Milae movies.
In July 2003, Kim signed a three-year contract with William Morris, an American agency representing Hollywood stars such as Halle Berry, Salma Hayek, Kevin Spacey, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Lucy Liu, Jackie Chan, and Reese Witherspoon. That’s when she got her most big part in ABC’s Lost in 2004, played as Sun in that TV series.
She took full six seasons in Lost, and after shooting her final scenes she married her former manager Jeong Hyeok Park in March 2010 on the island of Oahu. Many fans asked whether she had a connection with her co-star in Lost, Daniel Dae Kim. The answer is no, she’s not related in any way with Daniel.
