Love and Career:
Elizabeth Mitchell started her career in theater, spent six years at the respected Dallas Theatre Center and one year with that theater’s Encore Company. She made a breakthrough performance in TV film, Gia (1998), where she was played a very hot lesbian scene with Angelina Jolie.
Her television series career began to rose after she had a recurring role as Dr. Kim Legaspi, the first lesbian lover (again!
) of Dr. Kerry Weaver (Laura Innes) during the 2000–01 season of TV series ER.
After recurring in many others series, she finally got a major part as Dr. Juliet Burke in ABC’s hit Lost, where she joined in season 3 (2006) and continues until the show ended in season 6 (2010). Now, she got a leading role in the remake version of science fiction miniseries, V (2009 – ongoing), as Erica Evans.
Elizabeth Mitchell married actor Chris Soldevilla on June 13, 2004. They have a son, Christopher Joseph (C.J.), who was born on September 4, 2005.
