Love and Career:
Courtney Cox started her career in showbiz with modeling, appeared in some teen magazines. While modeling, she attended acting classes, as her real dream and ambition was to be an actress.
Started her acting career in 1984, only 10 years later her fortunes changed dramatically when she starred alongside Jim Carrey in the unexpected hit Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994), and a year later she was cast as Monica Geller on the hugely successful sitcom Friends (1994). It was this part that turned her into an international superstar.
Besides in TV series, Courtney Cox also appeared in some box office movies, such as Wes Craven’s Scream, The Longest Yards, and Bedtime Stories. Her recent role is in another TV sitcom, Cougar Town, as Jules Cobb. In here she nominated in Golden Globe Award for the first time, for Best Actress in a Television Series Comedy category.
